It has been a good summer in my little pond and recently I confess to being obsessed with the beautiful water lily blossoms that have been appearing.   Sometimes I have counted seven blooms in a single day!  I like to eat my lunch out by the side of the pond and instead of considering the lilies of the field (as in Matthew 6:28) I consider the lilies of the pond.  The frog has not been seen recently, but the fishes are thriving.   There are many baby fishes busily nibbling about.  "Biggie", my biggest orange and white fish I did discover had passed, but I like to assume many of the babies are his/her offspring!
